- If you need a book for your own research, first check the Library catalogue to ensure the book is not already held in library stock
- The library operates a digital first policy. This means we will try and obtain an e-book
- There may be occasions when the purchase of an e-book may not be appropriate. These include:
- Out of print/difficult to obtain
- Cost prohibitive
- For specialist research (unlikely to be well used by others)
- In these instances, we will try and loan the material from another library or purchase a print copy for library stock

RNIB Bookshare
Students with a print disability are able to access RNIB Bookshare, an online catalogue of educational texts in accessible formats. Eligibility includes visual impairment, autism, AD(H)D, dyslexia, dyspraxia or a physical disability which affects the use of print material.
Reading Lists are the best way to order all material for teaching. Just add the item to your Reading List and publish the list to notify the Library. The team can then assess and purchase/digitise your list items, as necessary.
If you do not have a list in Readings Lists (Talis Aspire) and would like support setting one up (and training to use Aspire), please send an email to readinglists dot library at warwick dot ac dot uk.
