Students (Monday-Sunday) 07.00 to 22.00

• Access to a ground floor student kitchen with microwaves, sink and hydroboil.
• Ground floor student printing area (rear exit side).
• The Agora is the large engagement space on the ground floor at the front of the building which includes a student social learning area and café.
• The mezzanine area offers student social learning space.
• Student social learning spaces are also distributed around the building in small clusters through floors 1 – 4. These areas are identified by the orange furniture.

Please note that there are also departmental clusters within the building, and the student social learning spaces in these areas are for the departmental students’ priority use. You can tell if you are in a departmental space by the green floor surface.

5 floors which are zoned into silent, quiet and collaborativeLink opens in a new window areas.

Cold food and hot drinks are permitted throughout. Hot food is only permitted in 'The Eating Place' on the ground floor.

PCs and print, scan and copy machines can be found throughout the building.

The main Library building offers a series of dedicated study rooms including:

• Accessible Study Rooms - One on each floor: bookable roomsLink opens in a new window for students registered with disability services.
• The Eating Place - Ground floor, near Café Library: a dedicated study space with self-catering facilities including access to microwaves and hot water.
• Study Lounge - Floor 1, near Library bridge entrance: a collaborative area with views over Library Road.
• Breathing Space - Floor 1: This relaxation room is a place for quiet reflection and a break from study.
• Co-creation space Link opens in a new window- Floor 2: A space where students can work in partnership with academic colleagues, professional services and each other. This is a flexi-space so is only available for general study outside of bookings.

• Seminar Room - Floor 2: This is aflexi-spaceso is only available for general study outside of bookings.
• Silent Study Rooms - Floor 2: There are 2 silent study rooms on the floor 2 extension.
• Wolfson Research Exchange - Floor 3: Specifically for Postgraduate Research students. Bookable seminar roomsLink opens in a new window (x3) for research-led events. Lockers available on a termly basis. Small kitchen area dispensing hot and cold water with complimentary tea, coffee and sugar (hot food is not permitted).
