Awards for CLL alumnus and staff
One of our alumnus and one of our staff members have been recognised for their teaching practices in the Warwick Awards for Teaching Excellence.
Naomi de la Tour, who studied the 2+2 degree pathway with us from 2003 - 2008, has won the prestigious Butterworth Award for her "extraordinary capacity for promoting and enhancing the Warwick experience for students." Naomi explains how she is, "inviting students to take risks, to reflect openly on their processes and practices within a group of their peers and to experiment with different ways of learning and thinking." You can read more about her work on the WATE pages and on the IATL (Institute for Advanced Teaching and Learning) website where she is currently a teaching fellow here at Warwick.
Sara Hattersley, our E-Learning Manager, has been commended for her development of "an innovative blended learning platform that engendered a spirit of collaboration and empowered her learners to develop a set of robust reflective practice skills." Sara describes the aim of her work as being to, "ensure that CLL is moving forward in its use of technology-enhanced learning and to support its progress, practically."
Congratulations to Naomi and Sara on their inspirational work and success.
