We are very pleased to report the promotion of Dr Christine Harrison to Professorial Teaching Fellow in Social Work. Chris works currently as an Associate Professor in the Centre for Lifelong Learning and also the Director of the Centre for the Study of Safety and Wellbeing (SWELL).

The promotion reflects Chris's outstanding contribution to social work education, at both local and international levels, and her research about gender violence and professional practice. Dr Christine will begin her new post from 1 June 2018.
