We are very pleased to report the promotion of Dr Christine Harrison to Professorial Teaching Fellow in Social Work. This reflects Chris's outstanding contribution to social work education, at both local and international levels, and her research about gender violence and professional practice.

Dr Christine Harrison travels to Engus, Nigeria for #PressforProgress, International Women's Day Event

One of CLL’s Associate Professors and member of the Centre for the Study of Safety and WellBeing (SWELL) will be travelling to Enuba, Nigeria for a conference organised to mark International Women’s Day on March 7, which aims to challenge domestic violence and abuse. Dr Christine Harrison, who has co-ordinated and taught child care and child protection social work for the last 25 years, will join other key speakers at the event organised by non-governmental women’s empowerment organisation, Power to Choose together with the Nchekwa Oha Advocay Foundation.
