AGCAS Awards for Excellence encourage, reward and share good practice amongst HE careers and employability practitioners, and their partner organisations, by promoting quality, innovative and collaborative projects and high professional standards across the full range of HE careers and employability.
Laura Oxley, graduating in 2022 from Postgraduate Diploma in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education (CEIGHE), was selected by Course Director Phil McCash for her outstanding performance on the qualification. In response, Laura shares:
I’m delighted to have completed my post-graduate diploma in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education and to have received the John Roberts Memorial Award. As a disabled student and a parent to a young child it has been a challenging but rewarding few years. I have enjoyed putting my learning into practice day-to-day in my Careers Consultant role, and have received a lot of support from my colleagues at King’s College London. The course team are really open to new ideas and feedback, and my professional knowledge and skills have much improved as a result of my studies at Warwick.
