ASEAN celebrates its Golden Jubilee in 2017, but what lies ahead for the region?
Our inaugural Distinguished Alumni Speaker Patrick Chang, Chief Investment Officer at CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad, will share his insights on "ASEAN at 50: Trends, Opportunities, and Challenges" at a special tea reception hosted by Provost Professor Christine Ennew at Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur on Sunday, 26 November.
Patrick has significant experience in asset management and has won numerous ASEAN awards for the performance of his investments on behalf of pension funds. He was previously Head of ASEAN Equities at BNP Paribas Investment Partners, Malaysia, and prior to that Patrick served as Senior Vice-President for CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad where he specialised in ASEAN and Asia ex Japan funds. He was also portfolio manager at Riggs and Co. International Private Banking in London.
Patrick graduated from Warwick with a BSc Accounting and Financial Analysis in 1993 and went on to complete a MSc Finance at City University Business School. He is a former Chevening Scholarship.
