Chevening Scholar Werachai Prayoonpruk (MSc Cyber Security Management, 2017) returned to Bangkok after graduating from WMG. He works for Global Fusion Centre (GFC) as a Country Manager for two Thailand subsidiaries. GFC leads cybersecurity operations, protecting the IT environment.

Leading AI innovation and sustainability in manufacturing

Theo Saville graduated from Warwick with a MEng Manufacturing & Mechanical Engineering with Business Management, in 2015. Alongside his studies, he joined WMG in 2014 as a researcher in Metal Additive Manufacturing, applying 3D printing for counterterrorism and policing applications. At a similar time, Theo founded CloudNC, and is Co-Founder and CEO of the advanced software company which uses AI to fully autonomise manufacturing processes, primarily in precision manufacturing.

28 November marked a jubilant day for Professor David Greenwood, CEO of the High-Value Manufacturing Catapult and Director for Industrial Engagement at WMG. In a special ceremony in London, he was formally admitted to the Royal Academy of Engineering. The event was a celebration of his outstanding contributions to the field of engineering. After he signed the Roll Book to officially join the Fellowship, he was graciously welcomed by Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal—a Royal Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Kanishka Arumugam (MSc Engineering Business Management, 2015) is Co-CEO of EKKI Water Technologies, a leading family business based in Coimbatore, India who pump and transport water in an efficient and sustainable way for agriculture, building services, industrial and public utilities. Kanishka set up India’s first Wastewater Pump joint venture alliance with HOMA of Germany, a world leader in wastewater technology. Connections: Saknakosnak Prum

Over the last 4 years after graduation from the University of Warwick in 2017, Nak has been actively volunteering his personal time apart from his full-time professional work to share his expertise and experiences through various mentorship programs and activities to support young women in Asia. Apart from being a mentor, he has a strong passion in volunteering and supporting STEM Education in Cambodia as a robotic trainer, a judge for various STEM and Robotic competitions, Chief STEM Project Supervisor. He is also a member of Southeast Asia Research Academy.
