Call for Abstract Submissions

Deadline: 1 April 2009

Submission Guidelines:
The Conference will encourage a broad interpretation of topics regarding the influence of Edinburgh and/or medicine on the work of Arthur Conan Doyle. Scholars from all disciplines are invited to submit abstracts.

An abstract (250 words max) and a short bio (200 words max) should be submitted by 1 April 2009, via email to d.kemp@rcsed.ac.uk. Papers should be 20-30 minutes long.

It should be noted that the conference will also be open to the general public and papers should reflect this audience.

Registration

We anticipate that this conference will be a popular event, please book your place as soon as possible. A special rate of £200 (sterling) will apply to those who book before 15^th April. The standard Conference Fee of £225 will apply after this date. A student concession rate of £175 is also available.
