French Studies at Warwick have been sad to learn of the death of Professor Brian Rigby, who worked at Warwick from the late 1960s until 1992, when he became Professor of French at the University of Hull.

We are also pleased to announce that, in addition to these university-funded awards, we shall make up to 4 further awards of Doctoral Fellowships to outstanding home/EU applicants: up to 2 for commencement of study on 1 July 2018 and up to 2 for entry in October 2018.

The University of Warwick’s Institute for Advanced Study has today opened its call for applications under the Marie Skłodowska Curie Actions COFUND scheme (deadline: 30th November 2017).
