Andrew Foster has asked me to thank all members of the Parish Network who heard about his register project at a symposium first and then responded to his My-Parish post (https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/cross_fac/myparish/posts/fosterregisters/). Their input helped him with his investigations on what happened to parish registers during the Interregnum. The results have now been published in the collection edited by Fiona McCall, Church and People in Interregnum Britain, University of London Press, 2021. There, you will find several parish-related articles, most notably the excellent introduction by Bernard Capp. Andrew's piece is entitled: 'What happened in English and Welsh parishes c.1642-1662?: a research agenda', 19-39. The Network was pleased to see that we are warmly acknowledged there!
