Fifteenth Warwick Symposium on Parish Research

'The Digital Parish'

My-Parish Logo

The 2017 meeting on Saturday 20 May at the University of Warwick focused on the many opportunities and challenges presented by 'The Digital Parish': new research approaches, online source editions and interactive websites (to name but a few), but also issues of data management / preservation and absorbing / weighing ever more plentiful information. The choice of theme marked the final preparations for the large ‘English and Welsh Churchwardens’ Accounts Database’ to be featured in our 'Projects' section. Delegates from the UK and overseas seized this opportunity to gather information, exchange views and embark on a general discussion on current initiatives and future directions.
