Arriving on campus
If you are an international student who i) cannot reach us due to flight restrictions (primarily coming from some remote places) or ii) have delays in issuing your visa, you can apply for late arrival using this link:

The deadline for our MSc international students in the above category to arrive in the UK is 8th November 2021.
We expect that any current traveling difficulties can be overcome by the 8th November and therefore we expect our students to be able to reach campus by then at the latest.

The autumn module registration period for the 2021/22 academic year opens on Friday 1st October 2021 at 9:00 am via the Evision Module Registration (EMR) system.Link opens in a new window
Timetable for all CS modules in Term 1
For Data Analytics students interested in CIM modules:
- You need to first sign up for those CIM modules you would like to register for as spaces are limited.
- The sign-up form for the CIM modules is available here
- The deadline to sign up for CIM modules is Friday 8th October at 12noon.
- Requests to register for a CIM module will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis.
- Do not register via EMR for CIM modules until we confirm to you a place in the module you have signed up for.
The departmental induction activities will take place on 4 October and will give you the opportunity to:
- Ask questions about the structure of your course and the opportunities available to you
- Get to know other students on your course
- Get to know key members of staff in your department

If you would like to connect via SSh to the department, Dr Jonathan Foss has prepared tutorial videos to demonstrate the idea of connecting to the remote server:
- For Windows users, they need to install OpenSSH client first:
- Then the actual SSH (on Windows, but it works exactly the same with Linux/Mac):
You will be assigned to one of the Q&A sessions and one of the Linux tutorials. It is important to attend your assigned Q&A session and lab to comply with COVID-19 safety guidelines.
All new students, including postgraduates, are also invited to attend Warwick Welcome Week (Monday 27 September – Sunday 3 October), where you can find out about the opportunities and support available to you as a student and get involved in Warwick Sports Clubs and Societies.
