Regarding his award, Edgaras said:
"I am incredibly honoured and humbled to receive Warwick Technician Commitment award. It truly means a lot to me. I would like to thank my wife, Dr. Manuela Trejo Ramirez, who always supported, and encouraged me. I'd like to also thank my colleagues and mentors Andrew Padley, Richard Cunningham, and Paul Williamson. Without their guidance, teaching and help, I wouldn't be where I am now. And of course, a big thanks to all people who appreciated my work, and took time to nominate me. Thank you very much."
The Warwick Technician Commitment Award for Outstanding Achievement celebrates the fantastic work our technical staff do across research, teaching and within our infrastructure, without which Warwick would not operate. Any member of staff or student can nominate a technical member of staff for achievements big or small, or to celebrate work that is unsung but still immensely important. Nominations are always open, with quarterly panels and award presentations. Find out more here: www.warwick.ac.uk/research/technicians/tcaward.
