Accreditation by Course and Year
This document summarises BCS accreditation and exemption for the undergraduate (honours) and taught MSc computing programmes delivered by the Department of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. For what the table entries mean, see the main page on accreditation.
In the following tables, our degree programmes are listed by year of entry, together with the status of exemption or accreditation. The information relates only to students who have passed with an honours classification, and in the case of full exemption/accreditation, the third/fourth year project must have been passed at first attempt.
All programmes "with intercalated year" carry the same accreditation as their counterparts without intercalaed year.

Entry years 1984-2004
Before 2005, the CITP and CSci qualifications did not exist. Accreditation was phrased as “exemption from BCS examinations”, and full membership of BCS required work experience in addition to the academic qualification.
