Second Year Computer and Business Studies BSc 2006/07

The normal load is 120 CATS credits. Candidates for honours are required to take four core modules (54 CATS credits), at least 24 CATS credits selected from Option List A and at least 30 CATS credits selected from Option List B.

Second Year Pass Degree Modules

Candidates for pass degrees are required to take modules totalling 96 CATS credits; the four core modules (54 CATS credits) and modules totalling 42 CATS credits selected from the list of optional modules. Among the optional modules chosen there should be at least 12 CATS credits selected from List A and at least 15 CATS credits selected from List B.

Prescribed Coursework

Prescribed coursework is required for: CS247, CS252 and IB346.

Preparatory to Third Year Project

In the summer term of the second year students are required to select the project which they will pursue in the third year of their studies.
