Academic Bridging Content

As part of our 'ES193: Engineering Mathematics' module, all first year students are expected to take an online diagnostics Maths test during Week 1 of Term 1. This is a short test covering very basic mathematics concepts that you should have encountered prior to joining us in Engineering.

To prepare for this diagnostic test, and also to refresh your memory on basic mathematical techniques, we have prepared a selection of online material, worksheets and exercises for you to perform before and during Welcome Week - you can find these here.

2024/25 Student WhatsApp Group

Want to meet other Y1 Engineering students and get to know each other in an informal space? Join our student-administered Engineering WhatsApp group!

*Please note that the group has been created by current Engineering students and is not monitored by staff from the School of Engineering.

Transition to Warwick

The University has co-created with current students some helpful webpages that will guide you through the transition to Warwick. Each section includes a variety of resources including student discussion panels, advice and top tips from students and links to websites with further information. You may find this webpage useful, not only in your first few weeks, but also throughout your University journey.

Why not join the Engineering Society?

One of the ways to get involved at Warwick is through the Engineering SocietyLink opens in a new window: a student-run hub for Warwick engineers with over 600 members. Throughout the year you can expect careers support sessions, conferences, a ball and other events to help you get the most out of your university experience.
