There are 2 Crystalpro devices located in lab C10 in the 18 °C crystallization room and in the 4 °C cold room.

Both devices are computer controlled and allow "on the fly" scanning of the plates as well as scheduled plate inspections. The images are held in a web based file server so it is possible to login in from any suitable internet connection and look at your results.

The hotel has space for up to 112 plates. Whilst proteins can take weeks or months to form we recommend viewing the plates using this device with the initial 2 week window and then transferring them out of the hotel. This essentially means the hotel does not fill up!
