Collaborative Research
Much of our research within the Environment & Ecology cluster is inherently interdisciplinary, and so we work closely with several departments and institutes at Warwick, including:
Warwick Environmental Systems Interdisciplinary Centre
Warwick Environmental Systems Interdisciplinary Centre (WESIC) connects researchers from across Warwick University faculties to find solutions to global challenges, including climate change, sustainability and environmental pollution.
The Zeeman Institute
The Zeeman Institute for Systems Biology & Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (SBIDER) specialises in bringing sophisticated mathematics to challenges in biological sciences. Our research spans from the theoretical to practical policy advice, and from the genome to the population.
Warwick Crop Centre
We are an internationally recognised centre for translational research in sustainable agriculture, horticulture and food security.
Institute for Global Sustainable Development
Our vision is to be at the forefront of knowledge creation, enabling transformations towards a more sustainable, prosperous, healthier and just world for all.
Habitability GRP
Our GRP brings together issues around the decline in natural environment and changes to our climate, and asks where can life survive and how can it flourish? We focus on the cultural, political, ethical and scientific implications of life on and beyond Earth.
Food GRP
The Food GRP's initiatives revolve around issues of sustainability, equity and culture. We aspire to be an interdisciplinary hub for research engaging with food and drink systems, fostering active and inclusive involvement of academics and other stakeholders, within and beyond our regional communities.
