Impact of the withdrawal of neonicotinoids on aphid control
If you have not already done so, please would you participate in a survey investigating the impacts that the European Union’s neonicotinoid ban has had on UK carrot and lettuce production. The loss of plant protection products is a concern to many farmers, and this survey aims to explore how pest management strategies have been impacted by the neonicotinoid ban.
The survey is part of research being conducted by Megan Whatty (Food Security master’s student at the University of Warwick) as part of their master’s dissertation project on the economic and environmental impacts that the European Union neonicotinoid ban has had on UK crop production. The project is supervised by Rosemary Collier of the University of Warwick.
We welcome any participants who are over the age of 18, all responses are anonymous and by taking part in this survey you are giving consent for your anonymous data to be used in this study.
