On this page you can review the course structure for the MSc in Diabetes and register your modules for your chosen course of study.

The course is designed for GPs, hospital doctors, specialist nurses and health professionals that are involved in the care for, and treatment of, people with diabetes. It is structured in such a way that enables professionals to balance the requirements of their career with further study at university if they so wish.

A flexible, modular structure allows you to study over three years part-time, starting with the Post Graduate Certificate in the first year, progressing to the Post Graduate Diploma in the second and then going on to the MSc stage in the third.

The whole MSc will total 180 CATS, made up of 60 CATS for the Certicate stage, 120 CATS for the Diploma and 180 CATS for the full MSc. All of the required modules in each year must be taken before a student is allowed to progress to the next year of study.

Please review the module structure for each year of the MSc, and when you have done so, register the modules that you wish to take for each constituent part of the MSc by using the links below.

The MSc diabetes is also able to be taken in a single year. The required module rubric remains unchanged, but the single year of study results in the rewarding of an MSc after the first (and only) year of study. Please review the module structure for the MSc, and when you have done so, select the modules that you wish to take using the link below.
