In Phase III students rotate through:
- Student Selected Component 2
- Advanced Cases 2
- Specialist Clinical Placements
- Care of the Medical Patient
- Care of the Surgical Patient
- Acute Medicine
- Psychiatry
- Musculoskeletal Healthcare
- Child Health
- Obstetrics and Gynaecology
- General Practice
- Elective
- Assistantship
Current Phase III Structure
- 8 x 6 week blocks
- Students continue to work in pairs with their Clinical partner
- There are 24 (rarely 22) students per block / stream
- Each stream rotates around all specialty blocks
- Academic Days no longer fortnightly
