Local Information

The meeting will start at 10:00 on 14th August 2013.

It will be held in the Physics Lecture Theatre (PLT) at the University of Warwick.

The University hosts a general webpage with travel directions to the University of Warwick, which you may find useful, but here are a few additional notes.
(1) We recommend that you print off a campus map (PDF Document) otherwise taxi drivers are likely to drop you in the wrong place. Physics is buliding number 45, near Car Parks 9 and 10 on the map.
(2) If you are coming by car we recommend that you use Car Park 15 (grab a token to enter, pay as you leave). A car park map (PDF Document) is also available.
(3) If you come by train, the nearest station is Coventry, not Warwick! Coventry station is well connected to London and Birmingham, and taxis are available to bring you to campus.
(4) You can enter Physics along the main concourse from Library Road, or through Physical Sciences (building 44). PLT is on the main concourse. The Astronomy group is on the ground floor of Physical Sciences (building 44).

If you need to stay the night (either on Tue or Wed) there are various options. The University hosts several hotels a few minutes walk from the campus. See here . There are also numerous Bed and Breakfast options either around the University (e.g. Lodge House Farm) and Kenilworth (e.g. (e.g. Abbey Guest House).
