Information for visiting seminar speakers
The University hosts a general webpage with travel directions to the University of Warwick, which you may find useful, but here are a few additional notes.
We recommend that you keep a copy of the Campus map to direct taxi drivers about where to drop you off. The Astronomy group is in Millburn House (there is also an interactive map). Once at the entrance to Millburn House (the location is marked on the map below and on the central campus map), the bulk of the astronomy group is on the first floor - please ask anyone to direct you to the seminar organisers' office (A1.11).
Train
If you come by train, the nearest station is Coventry Station, not Warwick! Coventry station is well connected to London and Birmingham, and taxis are available to bring you to campus. Alternatively, buses (numbers 11 & 12) run frequently from Coventry station to campus.
Car
If you are arriving by car, please bear in mind that parking can be busy during term time. Some parking spaces are available at Millburn House, or alternatively the nearby multi-storey car park on Kirby Corner Road is a short distance away. More information can be found here about parking options on campus and how to pay for them.
Air
Warwick Campus is well served by Birmingham International Airport (BHX). From the airport, trains run to Coventry Station (journey time ~10mins). From there, taxis are available to bring you to campus. Alternatively, buses (numbers 11 & 12) run frequently from Coventry station to campus.
When booking flights please book well in advance if possible. Before completing the booking, confirm the details of the flight with the seminar organiser(s).
