UKCES Expert Panel

The UK Commission for Employment and Skills has set up a panel of experts to support the work of its Research and Policy Directorate. Experts from across the UK, recognised nationally and internationally for their experience and knowledge of employment and skills systems in the UK and abroad, have been appointed as panel members.

The following members of IER have been appointed to the UKCES Expert Panel for 2010-11:

  • Jenny Bimrose - the theory and practice of career counselling and guidance and on gender.
  • Anne Green - employment, non-employment, regional and local labour market issues, migration and commuting, and associated policy issues.
  • Rob Wilson - the drivers of changes in the patterns of demand for and the supply of skills at national and international levels.

Anne Green, Rob Wilson and Kate Purcell were also members of the UKCES Expert Panel between 2008-2010.
