Using LMI effectively in practice workshops

Warwick Institute for Employment Research provided two workshops for Lifelong Learning Advisors and other Learndirect advisers providing services for Sector Skills Councils. The workshops were held at the Learndirect sites in Leicester and Manchester.

They focused on the use of labour market information (LMI) in practice, drawing on resources provided by the National Guidance Research Forum website.

It was the aim to enhance the use of LMI in guidance practice by examining for role of LMI in practice, review sources, explore local labour markets and develop knowledge and understanding of how to to interpret and apply this learning to practice.
