This term welcomes the launch of wbsLive at Warwick Business School, a desktop video conferencing facility, available to all WBS staff, students and alumni. wbsLive is a virtual classroom environment which offers audio, video, application sharing and content display to anyone with a computer and an internet connection.

Students' Union to undergo £11 million redevelopment

For over 30 years, Warwick students and staff have enjoyed the benefits of the Students' Union. But, originally built in 1975 for around 2,000 students, it no longer caters for a population of almost 20,000 students! Now, an £11 million redevelopment means that the Students' Union will provide a first-class entertainment and social space which will serve the University community for at least the next 30 years.

Celebrating 20 Years of Part-time Degrees

On Monday 23 April, staff and students celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Part-time Degrees at the University of Warwick.

Part-time Degree graduates joined current students and University staff to reflect on their experiences of the part-time degree programme and celebrate their successes.


The First of Three Generations of the Same Family Studying at Warwick Graduates

Three generations of a Coventry family are celebrating their success after undertaking courses at the University of Warwick. 63 year old grandmother and community advocate Anne Skene, is to receive a certificate for her part in an innovative community research project 'Making Our Voices Heard', while her daughter Ellen Skene, 32 nears the end of her postgraduate degree in Sociology and her 22 year old granddaughter, Kirsty Saunders graduated with a BA in Creative Writing, on Friday 16th July.
