The Fernandes Fellowships – Funding Early Career Researchers from Europe

A generous philanthropic gift of £250,000 from Warwick alumnus Rui Fernandes will establish the Fernandes Fellowships programme, in support of Warwick in Europe. This gift will provide Early Career Researchers from Europe to have the opportunity to launch collaborative research projects at the University of Warwick.

Gordon Harris from Solihull has worked in engineering for almost thirty years, and has just gained long-wished-for academic qualifications – boosting his career – after graduating with the first cohort from the Applied Engineering Programme (AEP) at WMG, University of Warwick.

Research shared live across planet at unique student conference

The brightest undergraduate researchers from across the planet will share their research at the fifth International Conference of Undergraduate Research (ICUR) – founded by the award-winning Monash Warwick Alliance – later this month.


WMG and Dyson welcome first cohort onto the new engineering degree

Today engineering undergraduates begin their bespoke engineering degree, which has been developed by WMG, at the University of Warwick, in collaboration with Dyson. The Undergraduate Engineers have started at the Dyson Institute of Engineering and Technology on the Dyson technology campus in Malmesbury, Wiltshire.
