Warwick repeats top 10 success in UK research ranking exercise - 14 Departments ranked in UK top 10

The University Warwick is delighted to have repeated its top 10 success in the Government’s research ranking exercise which helps set a significant part of the government’s research funding for universities for the next 6 years. Warwick was ranked as the 7th highest university in the 2014 rankings.

Christmas gift reveals secret story of how UK car technology was used to create Olympic torch

On Wednesday 10th December Coventry company Premier Group are to present a gift of an Olympic torch to Professor Lord Bhattacharyya Chairman of WMG at the University of Warwick revealing the secret story of how leading edge UK car manufacturing technology was used to create the torch.

Warwick awarded £1 million to unite maths and social sciences

The University of Warwick has been awarded £1 million by The Leverhulme Trust to bridge the gap between mathematical and social sciences with a new doctoral scholarship programme. Warwick is one of only 14 institutions to be given the investment, which will fund 15 PhD students over the next five years, who will work across both disciplines, using quantitative methods to understand new sociological issues.

 

 


‘Grow your own’ inspired by new Coventry art exhibition

PhD student from the University of Warwick has produced a new arts project at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire in Coventry to encourage locals to grow their own fruit and vegetables.
