Sustainability: Regional Research with Coventry Communities - innovative methods and creative collaborations

Are you interested in participatory research, citizen science, innovative approaches and collaboration with local stakeholders and communities?

Come along to Ramphal on Tuesday June 25th from 12-2.30pm and join us to hear from three local projects and enjoy a networking lunch.

University of Warwick and Grapevine Project

Researchers from IGSD, Economics, Law, Engineering and GSD worked with Grapevine, a local community organising charity, a local community group and primary school to equip local residents with basic research methods training, community organising skills ,UoW produced air pollution monitors and Citizen Assembly and Jury methods to gather their own data and expertise, engage others in a bottom up democratic process to gather evidence and communicate the local concerns around air pollution and local sustainability issues to local policy makers.

We will hear from Community Organiser, Leonie Schmid (Grapevine) and Vangelis Pitidis (IGSD) about how the project went, the challenges, results and ongoing outcomes.
