Hi Everyone,
Sustainable Coventry is setting up a meeting with Warwick academics and local Midlands council leaders and other representatives from he community. It would be ideal if we can get a few representatives from the BBS GRP who can showcase ideas/research that would help Coventry move towards more sustainable goals.
As I understand it this is an opportunity to see where Behavioural Science can have an impact on the ground within our local community.
I've copied in Parmjit Dhugga's email below which has more information. The GRP can also provide funding to help if this is needed.
If you have something you could present, please contact me and/or Parmjit.
Thank you,
Thomas
Hi Thomas, I am happy for researchers within the GRP to deliver any type of activity that will help to showcase the GRP expertise available to the region with a view to securing future collaborations and help the regional agencies and bodies to deliver solutions. The activity could simply be a talk, or a panel discussion, or a workshop to gather further information. Professor Jackie Hodgson and I are truly open-minded regarding the event(s) that a GRP wants to bring to the Summit. We are also happy for colleagues to deliver activities in tandem with research partners and other collaborators. I also don't mind if colleagues repurpose activities originally designed for other forums, but we really should be seeking to derive additional value as a consequence of engaging with regional decision-makers at the Summit. If it would help to have a quick telephone conversation, feel free to give me a call on 07813 669 674. I'm happy to take calls out of 'office hours'.
