We hosted a lecture by Professor John Loughhead, Chief Scientific Adviser to the department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy. Professor Loughhead discussed how technology, research, business and policy must come together to build a sustainable energy infrastructure for the UK.
The Future of Energy in Warwick’s masterplan
This seminar discussed ways to incorporate our energy strategy into the University’s masterplanning exercise. This involved a student project about the ways to increase solar electricity generation on campus.
Energy Forum
Members of the GRP were invited to give brief talks about their projects. Academics from Sciences, Social Sciences and Engineering came along. This was a chance for members to come together and consider future collaboration.
