Coffee Chat - Future of Work - 16th January 2025
The Business, Manufacturing & Innovation Spotlight aims to bring together colleagues from diverse disciplines across physical and social sciences and the humanities to work on current and salient issues for organisations.
Coffee Chats are a means to promote connections across departments across the University.
The next coffee chat will be on Thursday, 16th January at 10:00-12:00 at Scarman.
The theme is Future of Work, which includes workplace wellbeing, the impact of technology on work, and issues of trust, privacy and cybersecurity in online collaboration. As a crosscutting theme we are also interested in exploring ethical implications of these topics, as well as sharing examples of successful working.
We are particularly keen to explore opportunities for interdisciplinary approaches to research in this area.
No specific preparation is required to attend the coffee chat: just an open mind to discuss with colleagues with different backgrounds issues that are relevant to research and society! Refreshments will be available from the lounge.
