Our Programme for Sustainable Change
Research for Sustainable Change: A Programme of Events and Activities
Our wider programme of events and activities unites together senior leaders from the University’s Global Research Priorities (GRPs), the City Council, public sector organisations, the community sector, industry, and the cultural sector, as well as leaders from key regional bodies and agencies beyond Coventry and Warwickshire to address pressing sustainability challenges across a spectrum of areas. We are developing a range of events and activities to support this.
Challenges addressed
Key challenges to be addressed through the wider programme include:
- Policy and practice to support a ‘Net-Zero Carbon’ future
- Re-thinking the future of city centres
- New approaches to civic and cultural leadership
- Food and the health of the city's population
- Society, neighbourhoods and policing
- Transportation futures
- Economic growth through innovation
- Reforming public services.
