Following on from the success of our pilot event in the 2016/17 academic year – our Technology in Professional Services event will take place again within our busy Autumn schedule.
This sector event is designed purely for organisations from the Finance and Professional services sector who are seeking to recruit students into Technology schemes, internships and related positions. The focus of the event is to highlight this niche area to students across all degree disciplines but specifically targets those students studying Engineering or Technology related degrees. Organisations attending will significantly raise their profile to their target audience whilst informing them as to industry trends, challenges and rewards.
The event will begin with three key note speakers who may talk about the following topics, although these may be discussed at time of booking if your organisation wishes to speak on a specific area:
- An Overview of Technology in Finance and Professional services
- The Recruitment Process/What we look for in a graduate
- Day in the Life of an Analyst
Following the talks, there will be time for open networking encouraging informal discussion with students and you are encouraged to bring along your exhibition stand and materials and well informed representatives – preferably those currently working in a technical role within the organisation, who can give a true picture of what this niche area has to offer.
A maximum of 10 employers will attend and places are offered on a first come first served basis with employer demand exceedingly high.
