Frequently Asked Questions

The student team

You will have a team of up to 6 students that we will assign to you based on the project detail you have given. Students will have to have applied for a place and undergone a detailed induction programme. Studying at multiple universities around the world, your student team will be from different year groups and studying a wide variety of degree disciplines.

Have a look at our video to see what some previous students thought about their experience on the TeamWork programme:

During the four-week project phase, we suggest meeting with your student team at least once per week, via the Microsoft Teams platform. We also recommend that you are available to reply to any questions from your team, during this time.

Please provide as much detail as possible in your project brief. A week by week guideline is particularly helpful for students to be able to plan their workload. All students will have signed a Privacy Statement, so any information or data you provide is confidential. During your briefing, please share context and introduce your organisation and then drill down into what exactly you want the students to complete for you, indicating where you give them freedom to do their own research. Also, do tell your student team how you would like to see the final report/presentation i.e. PDF, PowerPoint presentation.

We expect a time commitment of approx. 2 hours from you per week during the 4 week project phase. This includes an online pre-project briefing with your student team, regular check ins – and a final project presentation meeting.

We use Microsoft Teams which is supported by Warwick, secure and free to use. All work will happen through this platform including sharing files, working on documents and holding team chat and video calls.

Yes absolutely! They will love to hear from you, any advice will be much appreciated. Many of our students have gone on to have internship and graduate job offers from TeamWork organisation partners.
