Improving Access to Postgraduate Research Study for Black, Asian and Minority ethnic Postgraduate Researchers (PGR): Call for Working and Mission Group Members

Coventry University and the University of Warwick are building on their commitment to support access to PGR study to students from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic backgrounds through researching, developing and implementing student led and informed initiatives. While our bid to Research England and the Office for Students to support this activity was not funded, we remain motivated and inspired by the contributions our student communities brought to the discussions in preparing the bid. Coventry and Warwick are therefore delighted to announce that we will be continuing to work in collaboration and will be developing a number of cross institutional initiatives based on the areas submitted in our funding application.

As we plan our activity on these initiatives we would very much welcome the opportunity to continue engaging with you to hear your thoughts, develop your ideas and work in partnership with you on improving access at both institutions and helping to shape sector level policy and best practice.

We would like to invite you to a launch event on Wednesday 19th January 2022 hosted by both Coventry and Warwick colleagues. It will be held online between 11:00 and 14:00.

The session will provide an opportunity to meet with peers, discuss ideas and for both institutions to share our ideas on how, collectively, we can make positive and influential change.
