Planning your career path series

RDO Summer Programme:

Develop your career, prepare for conference season, and build confidence in communicating your research through workshops, writing support, and specialist sessions.

No matter what stage of your PhD, you need to start planning where next now.

Our RDO Summer Programme places a strong emphasis on career development, helping you prepare for Conference Season and build confidence in communicating your research. Throughout the programme, you’ll be supported to reflect on your next steps, explore different career pathways, and strengthen how you present yourself and your work.

Deciding what career will suit you and your skills, abilities and what you value will help you think about what you need to be doing now to get the career of your choice.

We will be starting our Summer Programme on 1st June 2026. Bookings open 11th May. We look forward to seeing you then

The Planning your Career Path Series covers your Internal Compass - finding out what you want from your career, and External Calibration, examining what is expected from the sector that you want to join.
