The Global South Initiative is inviting you to a series of summer poetry reading sessions. While enjoying the summer, we will read and reflect on the spectacular poetic voices of resistance from the global south.

For our next session of Summer Poetry of Resistance, we will enjoy beautiful poetry from Iran. In the session, we will look I Feel Sorry for the Garden by Forugh Farrokhzad . 

The session will take place on Monday, August 16, 2021, in the social sciences courtyard.
