Fostering Belonging

Fostering Belonging
We are pleased to invite you to a series of events designed specifically for Postgraduate Researchers (PGRs) and Early Career Researchers (ECRs). This series includes networking sessions, workshops, and focus group discussions, all aimed at exploring the sense of belonging among PGRs and co-developing a framework or toolkit to help PGRs and ECRs thrive at Warwick.
Why Belonging Matters: Belonging drives success
A strong sense of community boosting motivation, productivity, and academic achievement. Without well-being and community, confidence and output are likely to decline.
Traditional support falls short
Conventional academic structures often fail to meet needs for connection and engagement.
Community fuels thriving
Empowerment to excel academically and personally.
Early connection matters
Feeling valued from day one as a PGR enhances well-being and supercharges research productivity.
