PGR Specsavers Vouchers
In response to feedback from PGRs, the Doctoral College is pleased to announce that we are now able to provide Specsavers eyecare vouchers to PGRs. These vouchers are specifically for use with Visual Display Units (VDU).
Details:
The voucher provides you with a full sight test at any UK Specsavers store. Following the eye test, if you require glasses purely and solely for the use of VDU, Specsavers will provide you with a pair of glasses from the £50 range of glasses. Alternatively, you can choose a more expensive pair and have a £50 top up towards this. Built into the VDU voucher is a Premium Club discount, this entitles you to a £20.00 discount if you spend £100.00 or above, regardless of the prescription.
How to request an eye care voucher:
Fill in this form to request an eyecare voucher.
Important information
-Specsavers is the sole provider of this service. Do not book your eye test with another optician.
-If you are on a Unitemps contract or GTA contract, you can request eyecare vouchers through the HR Webpages
-Do not book your eye test before you have received your voucher from the Doctoral College.
-Vouchers can only be requested once every two years. If you do not use the voucher you have received, you will not be eligible for another one within the time frame.
-The discount for glasses only applies where the glasses are only needed for VDU use
