The University of Warwick has been awarded 15 AHRC-funded studentships, spanning departments across the AHRC research remit.

Midlands Intergrative Biosciences Training Partnership

MIBTP is a BBSRC funded Doctoral Training Partnership between the universities of Aston, Birmingham, Harper Adams, Leicester and Warwick. The MIBTP has an ambitious vision to deliver innovative, world class research across the Life Sciences to boost the growing Bioeconomy in the Midlands and across the UK. PhD Studentship projects are focused in vital research areas such as Sustainable Agriculture and Food, Understanding the Rules of Life, Renewable Resources and Clean Growth and Integrated Understanding of Health and use interdisciplinary and quantitative approaches to biology.

Led by City University of London, Data Visualization is the practice of designing, developing and evaluating representations of complex data – the kinds of data that lie at the heart of every organisation – to enable more people to make real-world use of a source of information which is otherwise challenging to access.

Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Doctoral Training Partnership

A number of Medical Research Council-funded PhD studentships are available across Warwick Medical School and the School of Life Sciences through the Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Doctoral Training Partnership (IBR DTP). The programme focuses on addressing important biomedical questions in the key areas of Quantitative Cellular Dynamics and Molecular Microbiology. Central England NERC Training Alliance
