The Telegraph and Telephone Journal

'The Telegraph and Telephone Journal' was published by the General Post Office (GPO) as a staff journal from October 1914. The illustrated magazine included information about technological developments, articles on the broader use of telephones and telegraphs (and some of the social, economic, political or military consequences), and news about the activities of GPO staff associations and individual employees. During the First World War, the journal also contained articles from former staff on military service and news of conditions in Belgium and France following the German invasion.

The Modern Records Centre has editions of the journal for Oct 1914 - Sep 1920, Oct 1924 - Sep 1925, and Oct 1926 - Sep 1932. The following volumes have been digitised in full:
