CLL to launch new project to help adult learners achieve GCSEs

The Centre for Lifelong Learning will be launching a new project to help adult learners achieve GCSEs.

The ‘GCSE for Me’ initiative is a pilot project which is designed to help adult learners achieve a GCSE qualification in English or maths.

The GCSE courses will run by experienced subject specialists for the first time from September 2017.

Centre for the Study of Safety and Wellbeing (SWELL) supports International Women's Week event

Principal Research Fellow, Dr Ravi Thiara (SWELL) took part in a Gender Based Violence Day, held on 13 March at the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations, Coventry University.

The event was held to celebrate International Women's Week and focused upon the networks of support that exist in the City of Coventry and how they can work to empower and enable those affected.
