Warwick Business School's Part-time MBA (London Accelerator) is designed to enable you to make the next leap in your career, with learning taking place both at WBS London, The Shard, and online over a two year period.
Built with high-potential leaders of the future in mind, we understand that balancing work and study whilst trying to progress can be tricky. With this in mind, 80% of your course takes place at WBS London, our base in The Shard, and 20% online, through our innovative online platform, my.wbs.
In addition to covering key areas of management and leadership, you’ll access bespoke careers support, gain global exposure, and engage with the business world.

You'll personalise your MBA experience by selecting four elective modules that align with your goals. During your elective modules you will learn alongside our Executive MBA and Global Online MBA participants in London, widening your MBA network. You may also have the option to choose electives held at our Warwick campus or via online learning.

One of your four elective choices will involve a required overseas module, taking place at one of our partner institutions. These modules are exclusively designed for WBS students and encompass subjects such as sustainability and digital innovation.

Teaching and learning
Class size is around 30 students.
Typically, each module will consist of approximately 30 hours preparation and pre-reading, 27 - 44 hours of academic delivery and 40 hours writing the assignment(s). Your learning will be assessed through a variety of methods including individual written assignments, case study analysis, group work presentations and reports.
Module assessment is a mix of individual assignments, exams, group work and class tests.
Capstone module
For your final module you will have two options to choose from; a strategic consulting project or a dissertation. If you choose to take the Entrepreneurship, Healthcare or Social and Environmental Sustainability specialism, your Capstone module will focus in on your specialist area.
Strategic consulting project
The strategic consulting project focuses on practice and is based in an employment setting. You will work as part of a group on the project with 10% of your assessment being based on group work and 90% based on an individual consulting report. This is your opportunity to consolidate everything you have learned and apply it to a real business. Academically, it tests your ability to apply your learning to real management issues. Professionally, it may well open the door to your next career move.
Dissertation
If you choose to undertake the dissertation option, although more academic with a focus on theory, it is still highly relevant in the world of business. It will demonstrate that you can assimilate your learning, take multiple perspectives on a business issue and explore your subject thoroughly.
Entry requirements
You must have at least three years of professional work experience. We don't require management experience, but you should be able to demonstrate progression within your career and a desire to move into management and leadership.
Ideally, you should have a second-class honours at undergraduate level from a UK university or the equivalent from an overseas university. We also welcome applications from candidates who do not have the academic qualifications but are exceptional, with a proven ability to achieve.
IELTS overall score of 7.0. All four languages elements have to be scored 6.0+, with maximum of two language components at lowest level 6.0 or 6.5.

You can choose to submit a professional reference to support your application, particularly if you wish to be considered for a WBS scholarship, but this is not a requirement. Referees should be able to comment on your academic or business acumen.
There are no additional entry requirements for this course.
Fees and scholarships
Tuition fees are payable for each year of your course at the start of the academic year, or at the start of your course, if later. Academic fees cover the cost of tuition, examinations and assessment and some student amenities.
We carry out an initial fee status assessment based on the information you provide in your application. Students will be classified as Home or Overseas fee status. Your fee status determines tuition fees, and what financial support and scholarships may be available. If you receive an offer, your fee status will be clearly stated alongside the tuition fee information.
Do you need your fee classification to be reviewed?
If you believe that your fee status has been classified incorrectly, you can complete a fee status assessment questionnaire. Please follow the instructions in your offer information and provide the documents needed to reassess your status.
As well as tuition fees and living expenses, some courses may require you to cover the cost of field trips or costs associated with travel abroad.

Dissertations and Assignments are only submitted digitally. However, students may wish to print and bind their dissertation for their own purposes. Students on some courses will have a final poster presentation as part of their project and the printing of posters may be at the students’ expense.

While this course does not offer a formal work placement, postgraduate taught students at Warwick can self-source internships and work experience to complete alongside their studies, subject to visa conditions and the 20‑hour weekly limit for full‑time students.
Opportunities can vary in length and location, including in the UK, online and internationally. Postgraduate students find that shorter, remote and/or flexible opportunities work best around their studies, often seeking opportunities over the summer when teaching decreases and the focus moves to final dissertations and projects - although this can vary depending on the nature of the course and personal preference.

Access short-term international study, work or volunteering abroad experiences, without extending the length of your studies (duration is typically between 3 days and 12 weeks), with opportunity to apply for funding.

Whilst there is lots of support available at the University to help, students themselves are responsible for finding and securing a suitable internship or work experience. You will also be responsible for ensuring opportunities meet visa requirements, do not exceed the universities advised 20 hours per week for full-time students and for balancing extra-curricular activity with your studies.

Applications for courses starting in September and October 2027 are now open.
The on-time deadline for taught postgraduate courses starting in September/October 2027 is 2 August 2027.
We will still accept late applications, however cannot guarantee that the application will be processed in time to complete the admissions process if received in September or there are a number of conditions to meet.
If applying late please include your degree certificates and transcripts, English proficiency evidence (if needed) and ensure referees can submit references promptly to allow time for CAS and visa processing (if applicable).
