Registration deadline: 30 June 2022.
About the event

We are the leading Computer Science department in the UK. One of our key strategies is to carry out high impact research which will have the potential to be transformational for society and the economy, in line with UKRI’s vision of “pushing the frontiers of human knowledge”. In order to achieve this goal, we will organise a two-day research workshop to invite participants both from the University and from external industrial organisations to share their problems/tasks. Academics in the Computer Science department will showcase our latest cutting-edge research in AI and Data Science, while colleagues from other departments and participants from industrial organisations will present their problems and tasks. After identifying the common interests among participants, we will form focus groups for further discussion. The anticipated outcome will be some potential interdisciplinary proposals targeting UKRI funding streams and a set of industrial collaborative projects.
