The Department of Computer Science and the Centre for Discrete Mathematics and its Applications (DIMAP) at the University of Warwick invite applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Theoretical Computer Science, in the area of Algorithms and Complexity, or in related area

This Position. We are looking for exceptional candidates with an internationally renowned research profile and demonstrated academic leadership. Ideal applicants will have a strong research program along with a track record of publications at top conferences in Theoretical Computer Science, a dedication to teaching, and a proven track record or strong potential for securing research funding and mentoring students and early-career researchers.

This is a permanent position based in a world leading Department of Computer Science and the position is thought to enhance the activities in the Division of Theory and Foundations (FoCS) and in the DIMAP center. The successful applicant is expected to teach courses in computer science, conduct research in their field of expertise and actively participate in other Computer Science, FoCS, DIMAP, and university activities.

Preference will be given to outstanding researchers with an independent research agenda who will complement existing strengths in the Division of Theory and Foundations of the Department of Computer Science and DIMAP.

Relevant areas of interest in Theoretical Computer Science include, but are not limited to, design and analysis of algorithms and data structures, computational complexity, discrete mathematics, combinatorics, and graph theory.
