I am an EPSRC funded PhD student at the CDT Urban Science & Progress, based at the Warwick Institute for the Science of Cities. I am also a UK registered Architect with varied experience within the construction industry. I hold a BA (Hons) and a MArch in Architecture from the Manchester School of Architecture and an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice in Architecture from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). I have been involved in numerous design and research projects and competitions within the UK, Europe, Russia, China and Japan.
Working under the supervision of Dr Nerea Calvillo and Professor Daniele Quercia, my current research is concerned with exploring the link between architectural design and the perceived character of place. I am looking to contribute to the development of new spatial analysis method that will aim to inform contemporary architectural design practices and to improve the relationship between users and their environment.
