About Me
Hi! My name is Sid, I am a first-year MPhil/PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Till BretschneiderLink opens in a new window within The Zeeman Institute for Systems Biology & Infectious Disease Epidemiology Research (SBIDER)Link opens in a new window and the Centre for Mechanochemical Cell BiologyLink opens in a new window.
Research Interests
My research focuses on deep generative models to augment 3D bio-image training data, specifically investigating algorithms to balance training datasets to improve performance on downstream models trained on these 'augmented' datasets.
Keywords: deep generative models, cellular image synthesis, segmentation, classification, data augmentation
