A Radiological Iceberg, We only see the tip!

In Radiology most of the reporting is undertaken by trained personnel 'viewing' the images. Relatively little attempt is made at post processing the images. Because of this a significant amount of information is either wasted or going undetected. By working with scientists with an interest in image analysis we have been able to extract more information from the radiological images both for research and for clinical imaging. I will attempt to show what we have done and hopefully point to where we can go in the future with this type of research.
